About the Area
Clacton on Sea has recently become one of the most popular towns on the East Coast, due to its 7 miles of 'Blue Flag' award winning sandy beaches which are waiting to be explored. Along the top of the beaches are beautiful gardens which bring the views and leisurely walks to life. With the town recently renovated, it makes an enjoyable shopping experience; and with restaurants, cinemas and theatres surrounding the town, there is always something to do worth remembering.
There are plenty of sports and leisure facilities to visit and enjoy local activities. The most popular establishment is the Clacton Leisure Centre which has sports and leisure facilities to suit all, with a 25 metre swimming pool, a newly refurbished gym and astro turfs which holds many sporting events. Clacton on Sea has two golf courses which stretches along side the seafront and features several bowling greens.
